Hallmarked in London in 1831, this striking, William IV, Antique Sterling Silver Chamberstick, features a shell body, with silver mounts detailed with chased grape and vine decoration, and a removable extinguisher. The chamberstick measures 5.25"(13.5cm) tall, by 5"(12.5cm) wide, by 3.75"(9.5cm) deep.

Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1891 by Heath & Middleton, this enchanting, Victorian, Antique Sterling Silver Chamberstick is a superb example of the naturalistic bark effect popularised by this firm, shaped as a styled leaf, and carrying a registered design number. The removable snuffer covers a match holder and strike, and the nozzle is removable. The chamberstick measures 4"(10cm) tall, by 7"(17.5cm) from handle to side, and weighs 11.4 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London in 1795 and 1798 by Robert & David Hennell, this very rare set of four George III, Antique Sterling Silver Chambersticks, are plain in style, featuring reed borders throughout, removable nozzles and extinguishers, and engraved crests. Each chamberstick measures 3.5"(9cm) tall, by 6"(15cm) from handle to side, and the four together weigh 28.3 troy ounces. The crest is likely that of the Ryland family of Bearley and Sherborne in Warwickshire.
