Hallmarked in London in 1834 by Edward, Edward Junior, John & William Barnard, this handsome, Antique, William IV period, Sterling Silver Coffee Pot, is in the 'Melon' design, and is engraved with a crest and motto to one side. The coffee pot measures 9.5"(24cm) tall, by 9.75"(25cm) from handle to spout, by 6.25"(16cm) deep, and weighs 28.12 troy ounces.
The crest and motto appears to be that of George Bolster of County Cork. The motto translates as 'by force and valour'.
