Hallmarked in London in 1851 by Joseph & Albert Savory, this attractive, Antique Sterling Silver Tea Set, comprises a coffee pot, teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl, all in a 'Melon' shape, with chased acanthus & rose detailing, and gilt interiors to the cream jug & sugar bowl. The tea pot measures 7"(18.5cm) tall, by 9.5"(24cm) wide, by 6.5"(16cm) deep, and the other pieces are in proportion. The complete set weighs 78.5 troy ounces.
