b8720: Sterling Silver Mustard Pot

Hallmarked In 1782

Hallmarked in London, 1782 by William Plummer, this atypical George III Antique, Sterling Silver Mustard Pot has an unusual barrel shaped form. This mustard pot has deep reed decoration and a griffin crest on the lid. It has a blue glass liner and comes with a lovely shell bowl spoon. This mustard pot is 2.8"(7cm) tall and 3"(7.5cm) handle to spout. The total weight of the silver is 5.24 troy ounces.

Hallmarked In 1781

Hallmarked in London in 1781 by William Plummer, this fine, George III, Antique, Sterling Silver Basket, features a swing handle, bead borders, attractive lattice pierced decoration and an engraved crest to the bowl. The basket measures 4"(10cm) tall with the handle down, (12.5”(32cm) tall with the handle up), by 14.5"(37cm) wide, by 10.5"(27cm) deep, and weighs 32.9 troy ounces.

Hallmarked In 1764

Hallmarked in London, 1764 by William Plummer, this striking, George III, Antique, Sterling Silver Basket, features a cast scrolling foot with floral and bell decoration, pierced sides and bead borders. The basket measures 4.25 inches (11cm) tall with the handle down, by 15 inches (38cm) wide, by 12.25 inches (31cm) across the handle, and weighs 40.7 troy ounces (1266g).

Hallmarked In 1780

Hallmarked in London, 1780 by William Plummer, this exceptional, Set of Four George III, Antique, Sterling Silver Wine Coasters, are beautifully crafted featuring bead borders, wriggle work engraving and geometric and floral piercing. The turned fruit wood bases have green baize protectors. Each wine coaster measures 1.5"(3.5cm) tall, with a diameter of 5"(12.5cm).
