Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1865 by Martin, Hall & Co., this stunning Antique, Victorian, Sterling Silver Salver features a lobed acanthus and bead border with beautiful brightcut floral engraving to the body and stands on ball and claw feet. The salver measures 14"(35.5cm) in diameter by 1.75"(4cm) tall with a weight of 32 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in Exeter in 1865 by James & Josiah Williams, this unique Antique, Victorian, Sterling Silver Ink Stand features a textured rocky base with a realistically cast palm tree, and a lady standing in the shade of the fronds. A large flower covers a small compartment for stamps or wax and a round, straight sided pot contains a glass ink well. The ink stand measures 10.75"(27.5cm) wide, by 6.5"(16.5cm) deep, by 10.5"(27cm) tall and weighs 34.5 troy ounces. The inkstand carries an intriguing inscription to the back which reads "Presented to John D. Cleaton Esquire - by the Officers, Attendants and Servants of the West Riding Asylum, Wakefield - on his retirement from the Medical Superintendence of that Institution and appointment as a Commissioner in Lunacy, in recognition of his public and private worth - 25 July 1866".
