Hallmarked in London in 1919 by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co., this refined Sterling Silver Jewellery Box features an oval body with rope borders and a gilt interior, standing on lion's paw feet. It measures 5"(12.5cm) long, 2.5"(6.5cm) wide and 2"(5cm) tall with a weight of 5.6 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London in 1916 by Mappin & Webb, this attractive George V Sterling Silver Jewellery Box has a green velvet lining, with a slot for rings. The lid has been engraved with floral swag and scroll decoration and has a bird in flight at the top. The box measures 6"(15cm) long by 3.5" (9cm) deep by 1.5"(4cm) tall.

The jewellery box is 6 inches (15cm) long, 3.25 inches (8.5cm) wide, 1.75 inches (4.5cm) tall and, without the removable inner liner, weighs 7 troy oz (220gm).

Hallmarked in Birmingham, 1919 by Elkington & Company, this striking, Sterling Silver Freedom Casket or Jewellery Box, was presented to Mr Samuel Compston on his being made an honorary Freeman of the borough of Rawtenstall in 1919, and features the original presentation plaque, and enamelled badges to the top and sides. The freedom casket measures 6 inches (15cm) tall, by 12.5 inches (32cm) wide, by 8.5 inches (21.5cm) deep.
