Hallmarked in London, 1897 by F. Wilson & Sons, this magnificent and rare Victorian Antique, Spoon Warmer is made, unusually, in Sterling Silver. The nautilus shell stands on a naturalistic rock formation with a shell thumb piece at the back. There is beautiful pinprick engraving on the hinged lid. The spoon warmer is 5.5"(14cm) high, 7.5"(19cm) long, 3.5"(9cm) wide and weighs 17.7 troy ounces.
