Hallmarked in London, 1911, this smart George V Antique, Sterling Silver Muffin Dish has a plain style, simply enhanced with reed bands around the edges of the dish and domed lid. The dish stands on four claw feet. Inside the dish, the plate is removable, allowing it to sit over hot water for warming. The dish has a diameter of 7.5"(19cm), at its widest and the inside dish is 5.5"(14cm) in diameter. It measures 5"(12.5cm) to the top of the dome, excluding finial. The weight is 25.2 troy ounces.
