Hallmarked in London in 1916 by Liberty & Co., this novelty set of six, Sterling Silver Coffee Spoons, feature enamelled terminals depicting men in “Convalescent Blues” - a special uniform issued to First World War battle wounded soldiers when they arrived at hospital in England. To complete the outfit he wore his own khaki service cap with its regimental badge.
