Made Circa 1940

Made circa 1940 in Germany by Gottlieb Kurz, this fabulous Art Deco Sterling Silver Cocktail Shaker has a curved body and stands on a slim pedestal base. The lid has a cork liner and engine turned rim. Inside, is a twist fit, pull out strainer. The cocktail shaker measures 8.25"(21cm) tall, with a diameter of 3"(8cm) and a weight of 12.4 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in Birmingham, 1946 by J Bennett & Co., this covetable Art Deco Sterling Silver Cocktail Shaker has the smooth clean lines and tapered shaping typical of the period. It has a pull off cap with detachable lid and strainer. This superb cocktail shaker measures 9"(23cm) high with a diameter of 4"(10cm) at its widest and weighs 13 troy ounces.
