Hallmarked in London, 1936 by Nayler Brothers, this ingenious Sterling Silver Argyll has been designed to keep your gravy warm. It has an outer chamber for hot water so the contents inside remain temperate. The argyll is plain in design with a simple reed band at the base and lid, and a wooden handle and silver spout. It measures 7.5"(19cm) spout to spout, 6"(15cm) handle to lid, with a diameter of 3.5"(9cm) and a weight of 18.74 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London, 1813 by Joseph Biggs, this charming George III Antique, Sterling Silver Argyll has a cylindrical body standing on a platform base, with a gadroon border. The handle has a wicker cover. It has a side spout, as typical, and the hot water chamber is accessed through a hinged cover on the opposite side. This argyll is 6.5"(16.5cm) high and 5.5"(14cm) handle to edge and spout to edge. The weight of the piece is 11.8 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London, 1771 by Andrew Fogelberg, this attractive George III Antique, Sterling Silver Argyll has a swan neck spout, gadroon borders, pine cone finial and a wicker covered handle.There is also a small crest on the lid.The argyll has a hinged covered spout through which hot water can be poured into the inner chamber. It measures 6.5"(16cm) spout to spout, 5"(12.5cm) handle to edge, 4"(10cm) high and weighs 11.7 troy ounces.
