Rarer than Kings or Queens, this mid-Victorian, rococo revival pattern was first seen around 1840, the year of Prince Albert's marriage to Queen Victoria. With its elegant, flowing lines, Albert is gentle on the eye and manages to be pleasingly ornate without being too showy.
