The earliest English sterling silver wine tasters date from the second half of the 17th Century, although these examples are rare due to wine not being produced in the UK. The majority available for purchase in silver are French, typically 1st quality silver tasse de vin, but English Sterling examples can be found from the Georgian & Victorian Periods.
