Made Circa 1930
Made circa 1930 by Joseph Rodgers & Sons, this wonderful George V Silver Plate Tea Set is a true example of Art Deco design. Angular and sharp, featuring black handles and finials and black inlaid feet on the cut corners of the teapot and coffee pot. The coffee pot is 7.5"(19cm) tall and 3"(7.5cm) square. The tea pot is 6"(15cm) tall and 3.75"(9.5cm) square. The sugar bowl is 3.5"(9cm) tall and 3"(7.5cm) square and the cream jug is 3.25"(8cm) tall and 2.75"(6.5cm) square.

Hallmarked In 1856
Hallmarked in London, 1856 by Robert Hennell II (the kettle in Silver Plate circa 1855 by Elkington & Company), this attractive, Victorian, Antique, Sterling Silver Five piece Tea Set, features chased decoration throughout. The kettle measures 14 inches (35.5cm) tall, by 9 inches (23cm) from side to spout, the coffee pot measures 9.75 inches (25cm) tall, by 9 inches (23cm) from handle to spout, the teapot measures 8 inches (20cm) tall, by 9.5 inches (24cm) from handle to spout, the cream jug measures 6 inches (15.5cm) tall, by 5 inches (12cm) from handle to lip, and the sugar bowl measures 5.25 inches (13.5cm) tall, by 8 inches (20cm) from handle to handle. The four pieces without the kettle weigh 67.4 troy ounces.
