Hallmarked in London in 1710, this impressive, Antique, Queen Anne period, Britannia Standard silver berry spoon is a much larger example than usual, comparable in size to a basting spoon rather than a table spoon. It is beautifully hand chased and engraved with intricate foliate and fruit decoration, retains its original gilding, and weighs 4.83 troy ounces. The spoon measures 13"(33cm) long and 2.25"(6cm) deep.
