Hallmarked In 1712
Hallmarked in London in 1712 by William Penstone III, this very handsome and incredibly rare, Queen Anne, Antique Britannia Standard Silver Teapot on Warming Stand, is of pear shaped octagonal form, plain in style and with wooden handles to both the teapot and stand. The teapot on the stand measures 8.5"(21.5cm) tall, by 10.25"(26cm) from stand handle to teapot spout, and together they weigh 28.2 troy ounces. The warming stand is marked with a makers mark, stamped 4 times to the burner, only.
