Hallmarked In 1872
Hallmarked in London, 1872 by Thomas Smily, this beatiful Victoian mug features bands of engraved decoration depicting grape vine at the top and bottom and wheat sheaves around the center. Gilt inside, the mug measures 4.5 inches (11.5cms) in height and weighs 10 troy ounces.

Hallmarked In 1874
Hallmarked in London, 1874 by Thomas Smily, this unusual, satin finished, Antique Victorian, Sterling Silver Wine Ewer has beautiful fern and foliage engraving throughout. There is an applied handle in the form of a mythical two footed serpent. There is a shaped spout with a hinged lid and it stands on a pedestal base. This ewer is 12"(30.5cm) tall with a diameter of 5"(12.5cm) around the body and a measurement of 4"(10cm) handle to neck. The weight of this piece is 22.4 troy ounces.
