Hallmarked in London in 1874 by Thomas Smily, this unusual Antique, Victorian, Sterling Silver Wine Ewer features beautiful fern engraving to the body, a cast handle modelled as a footed serpent or dragon and a shaped spout concealing a hinged lid. The ewer measures 12"(30.5cm) tall with a diameter of 5"(12.5cm), and weighs 22.4 troy ounces.
