Hallmarked in London in 1795 by Solomon Hougham, this attractive, George III period, Antique Sterling Silver Sugar Basket, is in the Neoclassical taste, with engraved decoration to the body and foot, a swing handle, and an engraved crest to one cartouche. The sugar basket measures 4"(10cm) tall, by 7"(18cm) wide, by 4"(10cm) deep, and weighs 7.5 troy ounces.
