Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1911 - 1912 by Mappin And Webb this elegant George V antique sterling silver four-piece tea set is of a classic Queen Anne design. The pieces are of an ovoid form with half fluting to the lower body, and stand on a pedestal foot. The teapot and coffee pot are fitted with wooden handles and finials to the lid. The set has a combined weight of 45 Troy Ounces.
The tea pot measures 5.75"(14.5cm) tall, by 10.5"(26.5cm) from handle to spout, and 5"(13cm) deep. The coffee pot measures 10.25"(26cm) tall, by 9.75"(25cm) from handle to spout, and 4"(10cm) deep. The sugar bowl measures 3.5"(9cm) tall, by 6.25"(16cm) handle to handle, and 3.75"(9.5cm). The cream jug measures 3.75"(9.5cm) tall, by 4.5"(11.5cm) handle to spout, and 2.5"(6.5cm) deep.
