Hallmarked In 1796

Hallmarked in London in 1796 by John Schofield, this striking pair of George III period, Antique Sterling Silver Entree Dishes, are octagonal in shape, and feature gadroon borders, and cast handles modelled as leopard heads. Each entree dish measures 5"(13cm) tall, by 11.75"(30cm) wide, by 9"(23cm`) deep, and the pair together weigh a substantial 107.1 troy ounces.
