Hallmarked In 1772

Hallmarked in London, 1772 by John Carter II, this very handsome, George III, antique silver pair of sauce boats, stand on pedestal feet, and feature gadroon borders, engraved crests, and cast acanthus detailed handles. Each sauce boat measures 5.75 inches (14.5cm) tall, by 9 inches (23cm) from handle to lip, and the pair together weigh 25 troy ounces.
