Hallmarked In 1939
Hallmarked in London, 1939 by Josiah Williams & Co. This very handsome, Sterling Silver Teapot, is plain in style, featuring a wooden handle and finial. The teapot measures 3.25 inches (8.5cm) tall, by 7.75 inches (19.5cm) from handle to spout, and weighs 9.2 troy ounces.

Hallmarked In 1865
Hallmarked in Exeter in 1865 by James & Josiah Williams, this unique Antique, Victorian, Sterling Silver Ink Stand features a textured rocky base with a realistically cast palm tree, and a lady standing in the shade of the fronds. A large flower covers a small compartment for stamps or wax and a round, straight sided pot contains a glass ink well. The ink stand measures 10.75"(27.5cm) wide, by 6.5"(16.5cm) deep, by 10.5"(27cm) tall and weighs 34.5 troy ounces. The inkstand carries an intriguing inscription to the back which reads "Presented to John D. Cleaton Esquire - by the Officers, Attendants and Servants of the West Riding Asylum, Wakefield - on his retirement from the Medical Superintendence of that Institution and appointment as a Commissioner in Lunacy, in recognition of his public and private worth - 25 July 1866".
