Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1913-1914 by I. S. Greenberg & Co. this elegant George V antique sterling silver tea strainer is of a plain, circular form comprising a pierced bowl and a separate waste bowl. The strainer is fitted with a pair of highly decorative, cast foliate handles. It measures 1.25"(3cm) tall by 4"(10.5cm) from handle to handle and 2.25"(5.5cm) deep, and weighs 1.7 troy ounces.
