Hallmarked in London in 1792 by Henry Chawner, this very attractive, Antique Sterling Silver Sugar Basket, is Neoclassical in design, with wonderful bright cut engraved decoration to the body, and a gilt interior. The sugar basket measures 5.5"(14cm) tall with the handle up (3.75"(9.5cm) with the handle down), by 4.75"(12cm) wide, by 3.5"(9cm) deep, and weighs 6 troy ounces.
