Hallmarked In 1855

Hallmarked in London, 1855 by George John Richards, this pretty Antique Victorian , Sterling Silver Butter Dish has lovely floral detailed engraving and a resting cow finial. The bowl has plain frosted glass and a cut glass starburst base.The under plate measures 7"(17.5cm) in diameter. The lid has a diameter of 5"(12.5cm). The glass dish has a diameter of 5"(12.5cm) and a height of 3"(7.5cm). The total weight of silver in this butter dish is 8.4 troy ounces.
