Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1875 by Elkington, this very attractive, Antique, Victorian, Sterling Silver Tea Set, comprises of 5 pieces, all in the 'can' shape, featuring bright cut engraved decoration throughout and presented in the original fitted storage box. The set together weighs 97.93 troy ounces.
The tea pot measures 5.25"(13.5cm) tall, by 10.75"(27.5cm) from handle to spout, by 4.75"(12cm) deep. The coffee pot measures 9.5"(24cm) tall, by 9"(23cm) from handle to spout, by 4.25"(11cm) deep. The hot water jug measures 8.75"(22cm) tall, by 7.5"(19cm) from handle to spout, by 4"(10cm) deep. The sugar pot measures 3.75"(9.5cm) tall, by 7.75"(19.5cm) from handle to handle, by 4"(10cm) deep. The cream jug measures 4.25"(11cm) tall, by 4.75"(12cm) from handle to spout, by 2.75"(7cm) deep. The box measures 10.25"(26cm) tall, by 17.5"(44.5cm) wide, by 15.25"(39cm) deep.
