Hallmarked In 1931
Hallmarked in Birmingham, 1931 by Abrahams Brothers, this fine George V Sterling Silver Tea Set has typical Art Deco style, with the pieces having smooth bodies and octagonal shaping. The tea pot has a fruit wood handle and finial and it measures 11"(28cm) handle to spout, 5"(12.5cm) high and 5"(12.5cm) wide. The sugar bowl is 6"(15cm) handle to handle, 3.5"(9cm) high and 3.5"(9cm) wide. The cream jug stands 4"(10cm) high, 4"(10cm) handle to spout and 2.5"(6.5cm) wide. Together, the tea set has a weight of 34.9 troy ounces.
