Hallmarked In 1807
Hallmarked in London, 1807 by A. & G. Burrows, this handsome, George III, Antique, Sterling Silver four piece Tea Set, comprises of a teapot on stand, a sugar bowl and a cream jug, all featuring ribbed decoration to the bodies, and featuring gilt interiors to the sugar bowl and cream jug, ball feet, and a wooden handle and ivory finial to the teapot. The teapot on stand measures 7 inches (18cm) tall, by 9.5 inches (24.5cm) from handle so spout, the sugar bowl measures 4 inches (10cm) tall, by 8.5 inches (21.5cm) from handle to handle, and the cream jug measures 3.75 inches (9.5cm) tall, by 6 inches (15cm) from handle to lip. The set together weighs 35.6 troy ounces.
