Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1883 by Martin, Hall & Co. this unusual Victorian antique sterling silver pair of ice tongs features highly decorative, cast bird's-claw grips. The arms are engraved with a feather-edge bright-cut border and a central decorative monogram to the bow. The tongs measure 5.25"(13.5cm) in length by 2"(5cm) wide, and weigh 2.3 troy ounces.
