Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1812 by Thomas Blagden & Co., this handsome and rare pair of George III, Antique Sterling Silver Telescopic Candlesticks, are plain in form, simply decorated with gadroon borders, round bases and removable nozzles. The telescopic mechanism means they can adjust to different heights. Each candlestick measures 10"(26cm) tall when fully extended, 8.5"(22cm) tall when fully retracted, and 5"(12.5cm) in diameter. The candlesticks are filled for balance.
