Hallmarked in London in 1775, this fantastic, George III, Antique Sterling Silver Teapot, is 'Drum' shaped, and larger than usual, featuring wonderful bright cut engraved decoration throughout, an engraved crest, a wooden handle, and an ivory pineapple shaped finial. The teapot measures 4.5"(11.5cm) tall, by 10"(25.5cm) from handle to spout and weighs 22 troy ounces. The maker’s mark is listed on page 211 of Jacksons but untraced.
