Hallmarked in London, 1763 by John Langford II and John Sebille, this unusual pair of large George III Antique, Sterling Silver Salt Cellars have pretty pierced bowls and stand on three ball and claw feet. There is a wavy gadroon border around the tops. The salt cellars have been lined with clear cut glass with a starburst pattern on the bottom and wavy rim. These salts are 2"(5cm) tall with a diameter of 3"(7.5cm). The silver weight is 5.4 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London in 1763 by Fuller White, this Antique, George III, Sterling Silver Beer Jug is in excellent condition with acanthus detailing to the top of the handle and bearing a crest of an arm holding a lozenge shaped shield. The beer jug is 7.5 inches (19cm) from handle to spout, has a diameter of 5 inches (13cm), is 9.75 inches (23.5cm) high and weighs 26 troy oz (810gm).

e3066: Sterling Silver Epergne

Hallmarked In 1763

Hallmarked in London in 1763 by Thomas Pitts, this Antique, Sterling Silver, early George III Epergne is the rarer, larger, 9 basket variety and makes for an extremely impressive display. The epergne features cast and applied decoration to the borders and feet, with piercing to the body. It comes with an additional piece that fits underneath the central bowl. This later extension tube carries a hallmark for Charles Fox II circa 1825 and was presumably commisioned by the then owner to increase the height of the epergne. The epergne measures 36cm (14.25 inches) in height, 66cm (26 inches) in width and 62cm (24.5 inches) in depth. It weighs 155 oz troy.
