Hallmarked in London in 1760 by Alexander Johnson, this Antique, Georgian, Sterling Silver Basket has beautiful pierced decoration and a delicate gadroon and shell border. The basket is shaped oval with a swing handle and is 13.5 inches (34.5cm) long, 10.5 inches (27cm) wide and 10.5 inches (27cm) high to the top of the handle. It has a beautiful contemporary coat of arms and weighs 40 troy oz (1245gms).
