Hallmarked In 1795

Hallmarked in London in 1795 by William Holmes, this Antique, George III, Sterling Silver Tea Urn or Coffee Urn is of smaller size with reeded borders and an ivory spiggot. The coffee urn is 14 inches (36cm) tall, 8 inches (20cm) over the handles, has a diameter of 5 inches (13cm), sits on a base which is 4 inches (10cm) square and weighs 36 troy oz (1120gms). It is in excellent condition and the hallmarks are very clear.

Hallmarked in London, 1795 by James & Elizabeth Bland, this elegant George III Antique, Sterling Silver Tea Urn is spherical in shape and stands on ball feet. It has bands of bright cut engraving as well as three engraved crests. The urn has a spirit burner and there are lion mask and ring handles. The spigot has a stained green ivory knop on a reed detailed spout, with the reeding carrying through to the supports. This swivel tea urn is 17"(43cm) high, 11"(28cm) in diameter and weighs 159 troy ounces.
