Hallmarked in London in 1790 by Abraham Peterson this elegant George III antique sterling silver mustard pot is of a Neoclassical urn form with a hinged, domed lid and a high loop handle. The pot is finished with fine reeded decoration to the rim and stands on a spreading circular foot, and the interior is gilded. It measures 4.5"(11.5cm) tall by 3.5"(9cm) from handle to side and 2.5"(6.5cm) deep, and weighs 4.4 troy ounces.
