Hallmarked In 1806
Hallmarked in London in 1806 by Robert Garrard I, this handsome, George III, Antique Sterling Silver Water Jug, is plain in style, with a turned wood side handle, and an engraved crest and motto. The water jug measures 7.5"(19cm) tall, by 8.25"(21cm) from handle to side and weighs 14.7 troy ounces. The crest and motto is likely that of George Osborne, 6th Duke of Leeds, and a member of the Most Noble Order Of The Garter.

Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1811 by Matthew Boulton, this handsome, Regency period, Antique Sterling Silver Water Jug, features half fluted decoration to the body and lid, an egg and dart border, a wooden handle, and an engraved crest and motto to the front. The water jug measures 8.25"(21cm) tall, by 7.25"(18.5cm) from handle to spout, and weighs 21.5 troy ounces. The motto reads 'Tandem' and the crest, shield and motto belong to the Cunningham family.
