L0539: Sterling Silver Cruet Set

Hallmarked In 1773

Hallmarked in London, 1773 by Thomas Daniell, this dainty George III Antique, Sterling Silver Cruet Set has a delicate pierced frame of undulating form, standing of five claw feet. Unusually the five cut glass bottles each have their own, original, labels. There is one for Soy, Ketchup, Lemon, Cayon (sic) and Elder. The soy frame is 7"(17.5cm) high with a diameter of 4.5"(11.5cm). Each of the bottles is 4.25"(11cm) high with a diameter of 1.5"(4cm).

Hallmarked in London, 1797 by Peter & Anne Bateman, this attractive, George III, Antique, Sterling Silver Cruet Set, features five bottles, and engraved and pierced detailing to the stand. The cruet set measures 8 inches (20.5cm) tall, by 6 inches (15cm) wide.

Hallmarked In 1826

Hallmarked in London, 1826 by Charles Fox, this beautiful George IV, Antique, Sterling Silver Cruet Set has six floral and swag, etched glass bottles standing on a daisy shaped, pierced and beaded frame, which is embellished with cast lions heads. It stands on button feet. The stopper bottles are 5"(12.5cm) high and 1.5"(4cm) in diameter. One of the stoppers has a spoon attached. The pierced lid bottles are 5.4"(13.5cm) high and 1.5"(4cm) in diameter. The hinged lid pot is 4"(10cm) high, 1.5"(4cm) in diameter and comes with a spoon. The weight of the frame is 15.4 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London, 1809, this striking, George III, antique silver cruet set, features 8 bottles, all with cut glass bodies, gadroon borders to the stand, and reed detailing throughout. The cruet set measures 9 inches (23cm) tall, by 7 inches (18cm) wide, by 6 inches (15cm) deep.

Hallmarked In 1799

Hallmarked in London, 1799 by Paul Storr, this very handsome, George III, antique silver cruet set, features six bottles, all with silver mounts, and a neoclassical frame with acanthus detailed handles, and column legs. The cruet set measures 9.25 inches (23.5cm) tall, by 10 inches (25.5cm) wide, by 4.75 inches (12cm) deep, and weighs 16.1 troy ounces (500g) (without the bottles).

This magnificent George I, Warwick style, antique Sterling Silver cruet set consists of three baluster silver castors and two cut glass bottles. The cruet set carries hallmarks for London in 1726, by Thomas Bamford I, and measures 22cm tall.
