Hallmarked In 1813
Hallmarked in London, 1813 by Joseph Biggs, this charming George III Antique, Sterling Silver Argyll has a cylindrical body standing on a platform base, with a gadroon border. The handle has a wicker cover. It has a side spout, as typical, and the hot water chamber is accessed through a hinged cover on the opposite side. This argyll is 6.5"(16.5cm) high and 5.5"(14cm) handle to edge and spout to edge. The weight of the piece is 11.8 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London, 1783 by John Wakelin & William Taylor, this handsome George III, Antique, Sterling Silver Argyll is plain in style having an urn shape to the body, with reed borders and a wood handle. There is an original engraved heraldic shield on the body and a crest on the lid. It measures 8"(20cm) handle to spout, 8"(20cm) tall and has a diameter of 4"(10cm). This argyll weighs 16 troy ounces.
