Hallmarked in Birmingham, 1919 by Henry Matthews, this rather nifty Sterling Silver Ink Stand has a hinged hatch for storing your postage stamps as well. It is plain in style, with a hinged button lid and a gulley for resting your pen. The inkwell measures 2.5"(6.5cm) high to the top of the lid, is 4"(10cm) in length and is 2"(5cm) in width.

Hallmarked In 1915

Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1915 by James Dixon & Sons, this antique, George VSterling Silver Ink Stand, has a beautiful Art Nouveau style, with lovely curvaceous edges decorated with shell detailing and standing on scroll feet. The cut glass bottles have hinged silver tops. The stand measures 9"(23cm) wide and 5.5"(14cm) deep. The bottles are 2"(5cm) square and 2"(5cm) tall.The tray, without bottles, weighs 12.2 troy ounces.
