Made Circa 1825
Made circa 1825, this beautiful Antique, Old Sheffield Plate Soup Tureen has a shaped, melon body, with acanthus leaf handles and feet and a scalloped floral and scroll border. The domed lid has a twisted reed and acanthus handle. The base and lid carry an original crest. The tureen is 16"(40cm) handle to handle, 10"(25.5cm) deep and 11"(28cm) tall.

Hallmarked In 1825
Hallmarked in London, 1825 by John Bridge, this Antique, Sterling Silver Bouillabaisse Tureen, stands on four ball feet, and features a shell finial to the lid, reed borders around the base, a gadroon border around the rim, and drop ring handles. The tureen measures 6.75 inches (17cm) tall, by 10.25 inches (26cm) wide, by 8.5 inches (21.5cm) deep, and weighs 48.8 troy ounces.
