Hallmarked in London in 1784 by John Wakelin & William Taylor, this handsome, George III, Antique Sterling Silver Soup Tureen, is Neoclassical in style, featuring sunken half fluting to the body and lid, reed borders, an engraved coat of arms and an acorn finial. The soup tureen measures 9.75"(25cm) tall, by 16.5"(42cm) wide, by 9"(23cm) deep, and weighs 90.8 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London in 1799 by William Pitts, this stylish, George III, Antique Sterling Silver Soup Tureen, features unusual double scroll handles, four acanthus detailed feet, an engraved crest and motto, and a gadroon border. The soup tureen measures 11.5"(29cm) tall, by 14"(35cm) wide, by 9"(23cm) deep, and weighs 99.4 troy ounces. The motto translates as 'I have borne and done many things' and is likely that of the Arkwright family.
