b3451: Sterling Silver Set Of Four Chambersticks

Hallmarked In 1795

Hallmarked in London in 1795 and 1798 by Robert & David Hennell, this very rare set of four George III, Antique Sterling Silver Chambersticks, are plain in style, featuring reed borders throughout, removable sconces and extinguishers, and engraved crests. Each chamberstick measures 3.5"(9cm) tall, by 6"(15cm) from handle to side, and the four together weigh 28.3 troy ounces. The crest is likely that of the Ryland family of Bearley and Sherborne in Warwickshire.
