Hallmarked in London, 1759 by Samuel Herbert & Co., this delightful little George II, Antique, Sterling Silver Pierced Basket stands on an applied floral base with an applied border and swing handle. The basket is 2"(5cm) high, 6"(15cm) across and 4.5"(11.5cm) wide. It weighs 7.4 troy ounces.

Hallmarked In 1760

Hallmarked in London in 1760 by Alexander Johnson, this Antique, Georgian, Sterling Silver Basket has beautiful pierced decoration and a delicate gadroon and shell border. The basket is shaped oval with a swing handle and is 13.5 inches (34.5cm) long, 10.5 inches (27cm) wide and 10.5 inches (27cm) high to the top of the handle. It has a beautiful contemporary coat of arms and weighs 40 troy oz (1245gms).
