The basket is formed as an open shell, with a shaped gadroon border, pierced decoration to the body, standing on three dolphin feet, and with a handle formed as a mermaid. The basket measures 10.5"(27cm) tall, by 13"(33cm) wide, by 9.75"(25cm) deep and weighs an impressive 70 troy ounces.
