Hallmarked in Sheffield between 1936 and 1938 by Viner's Ltd. this classic George VI sterling silver four-piece tea set is of a traditional design. The pieces have a polished surface and a lobed and curving form. The teapot and coffee pot are fitted with ebonised wooden handles and finials, while the sugar bowl and cream jug have gilt interiors and plain angular handles. The set has a combined weight of 63.5 troy ounces.
