Hallmarked In 1881
Hallmarked in London, 1881 by James Johnson & John Walker, this attractive, Victorian, antique silver tea set, comprises of a coffee pot, teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl, all featuring brightcut engraved decoration, gilt interiors to the sugar bowl and cream jug, and ivory handles and finials to the teapot and coffee pot. The coffee pot measures 9 inches (23cm) tall, by 9 inches (23cm) from handle to spout, the teapot measures 6.25 inches (16cm) tall, by 10.5 inches (27cm) from handle to spout, the sugar bowl measures 4.5 inches (11.5cm) tall, by 7.25 inches (18.5cm) from handle to handle, and the cream jug measures 4 inches (10cm) tall, by 5.5 inches (14cm) from handle to lip.
