A fine pair of antique silver plated picnic boxes, made and retailed by Thornhill & Company of 144 Bond Street London. Each box measuring 3.25"(8cm) tall, by 8.5"(21.5cm) wide, by 7"(18cm) deep, and with handles to the top and side for ease when transporting. Each box is engraved with a crest to the lid.

Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1901 by William Hutton & Sons, this charming, Antique Sterling Silver Box, is ornate in design, with chased detailing throughout. The box measures 3"(7.5cm) tall, by 10.75"(27.5cm) wide, by 4.5"(11.5cm) deep, and weighs 19.6 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London in 1903 by Guild of Handicrafts, this very attractive, Antique Sterling Silver Box, features an enamelled plaque on the lid which is signed to the front by the sought after enameler Charles Fleetwood Varley. The reverse of the plaque is annotated by Varley, suggesting the enamel is a view of the Black Mountains as seen from Conception Bay in Newfoundland, Canada. The box measures 2.25"(6cm) tall, by 6.25"(16cm) wide, by 3.5"(9cm) deep, and weighs 12.8 troy ounces.
