Made Circa 1900

Made circa 1900 by Mappin & Webb and used to cook eggs at the table or on a picnic, this handsome, Edwardian, Antique, Silver Plate Egg Coddler, has an egg shaped body with a lift off lid and wooden finial, supported by a frame with ball feet that holds the burner beneath. Inside the chamber there is a removable holder for four eggs. The egg coddler is 9"(23cm) tall with a diameter of 4.5"(11cm).
