Hallmarked In 1845

Hallmarked in London, 1845 by Savoury Bros. This striking, Victorian, Antique, Sterling Silver Teapot, stands on four scroll feet, and features flat chased decoration to the body, and a silver handle with ivory breakers. The teapot measures 7.25 inches (18.5cm) tall, by 10 inches (25.5cm) from handle so spout, and weighs 25.8 troy ounces.

j6411: Sterling Silver Four Piece Tea Set

Hallmarked In 1850

Hallmarked in London, 1850 by Savoury Bros. This attractive, Victorian, Antique, Sterling Silver Four piece Tea Set, features lobed sides and engraved floral and acanthus leaf decoration throughout, with gilt interiors to the cream jug and sugar bowl, and pumpkin finials to the teapot and coffee pot. The coffee pot measures 9.5 inches (24cm) tall, by 9.5 inches (24cm) from handle to spout, the teapot measures 5.75 inches (14.5cm) tall, by 10.5 inches (26.5cm) from handle to spout, the cream jug measures 5.5 inches (14cm) tall, by 4.5 inches (11.5cm) from handle to lip, and the sugar bowl measures 4 inches (10cm) tall, by 8.25 inches (21cm) from handle to handle. The set together weighs 61.9 troy ounces.

j7578: Sterling Silver Centrepiece

Hallmarked In 1850

Hallmarked in London, 1850 by Savoury Brothers, this is a splendid Antique Victorian, Sterling Silver Centrepiece. The triangular base stands on three applied feet with floral decoration. There is a crest on one of the base panels. The three candle branches take on an organic form with flower and leaf design. The central cut glass bowl has fan shaped cutting forming a jagged edge. The bowl has diameter of 10"(25.5cm) and a depth of 4"(10cm). The centrepiece itself is 15"(38.5cm) tall and 15"(38.5cm) across. The base is 8"(20cm) in diameter. The silver weight of the piece is 60.46 troy ounces.
