L2496: Sterling Silver Butter Dish

Made Circa 1940

Made circa 1940 by Reed & Barton, this simple, American Sterling Silver Butter Dish is rectangular in shape, with a fitted glass insert and is the perfect size for a stick of butter. The dish measures 8" wide x 5" deep (20cm x 12.5cm) and the glass liner is 6" x 3"(15cm x 7.5cm). The weight of silver is 8.3 troy ounces.
